C. had her dream come true last weekend when she got to be a flower girl in a wedding! She was thrilled. It involved a drive south from Chicago through cornfields, which in turn inspired a lot of farm envy in the girls. “Let’s live in that one, Mommy! They have sheep and horses!”
The weather was lovely, the bride beautiful and our little L. only disturbed the wedding once — when asked if anyone knew any reason why the bride and groom should not be married, she yelled, “No!”
In the beautiful Victorian mansion and the sparkly sunshine of early fall, many moments of the wedding seemed like Impressionist paintings come to life.
Here’s wishing you a long and happy married life, James and Michelle!
