drawing a day :: 8

So today, feeling very under the weather with a head-cold, I did my drawing-a-day under the auspices of a family drawing time. This is something SouleMama has written about so eloquently. Today it was just perfect for all of us. And we even talked it over afterwards, telling each other about our work. It’s fascinating to hear what each child is thinking and feeling about their drawings. So inspirational.

{L. singing while she draws, thus breaking the “no talking” rule. So characteristic of each kid, this drawing time. One bending the rules and the other asking, Does the pencil making its scratch-scratch-scratching count as ‘talking’?} Yes, indeed. Happy times.
