I am a mother, writer, artist, knitter, quilter and I love to express myself through many creative pursuits. I live in Chicago with my family. I’m hoping this blog will be an online journal, a way to explore and get perspective on all the things that interest me.

  1. Hi Heather
I am your partner for back-tack III…just thought I’d stop by and get to ‘know’ you a little so that I can start thinking about the swap. I am thrilled to bits ( and quite relieved!) to read your first sentence about yourself. We have much in common so I hope to come up with a package that you will enjoy opening.

  2. Dear Blogger,
Fantastic “sunlight” photos. Sorry to hear about the recent croup. I love and admire your blog. Keep on truckin’, see you soon!

  3. Heather – Of course I remember you! We had a nice and easy conversation near Baba Eli, I think. Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying ‘hello’. I really enjoyed looking through yours, and seeing everything you’ve been creating – what talent! I am thrilled that we will be living near you and your family, and I hope you don’t mind that I will be asking ALOT of questions about all sorts of things.

Maybe we’ll see you at the market soon?

  4. Hi Heather! I understand that you are the winner of my give-away on True Up – for a set of The Original “How Much Fabric?” Reference Cards. Congratulations! If you will send me your mailing address, I’ll drop that in the mail ASAP. :)
    Take care, Gwen

  5. Hey Heather! I just got notice that you and I are paired for the Vintage Swap. I have been looking over your site and am so psyched that we were paired.

I’ll be emailing you the questionnaire soon.

    Talk to you soon.

  6. Hi Heather,

I thought I had your email address ….. or that it might be attached to your blog. It was soooo great to see you guys this summer. Wanted to send you those story links.

Hope the rest of the trip was fab.

I’m looking forward to trying out those rain paintings in your last post. ;)

    Hugs,

    Tamara
